This Privacy Policy explains how Park Products GmbH ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit thisispark.com or purchase our products.

2. Categories of data we process

Data you provide: email content, checkout and purchase details, shipping and billing information.
Usage and device data: pages viewed, actions taken, IP address, browser, device identifiers, cookie IDs.
Marketing preferences: newsletter sign-ups and unsubscribes.

3. Legal bases for processing

Under Swiss law we process personal data for contract performance, to comply with legal obligations, and based on our overriding private interests such as running a secure, user-friendly shop and measuring performance. Where required, we rely on consent, for example for non-essential cookies or newsletter sign-ups.

If you are located in the EEA or UK, processing may be based on Art. 6 GDPR: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, or compliance with legal obligations.

4. Online store and payments (Shopify)

Our store runs on Shopify. Shopify provides hosting, checkout and data storage. Payment processing uses PCI-DSS compliant gateways provided by Shopify or integrated payment providers. For details see Shopify’s privacy and DPA.

5. Analytics and advertising

Google Analytics: we use cookies to analyse website use. You can install the Google opt-out add-on.

Meta Pixel: helps measure Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta may link data to your account according to Meta’s policies. You can adjust your ad preferences in your Meta account.

We configure these tools to respect your choices and applicable law.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies for site functionality and optional cookies for analytics and marketing. You can control cookies in your browser and through our consent banner. The banner explains purposes, vendors and storage periods and lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. We avoid manipulative design.

7. Newsletter via Mailchimp

If you subscribe, we store your email with Mailchimp to send updates and offers. We use Double Opt-In and an unsubscribe link in every email. See Mailchimp’s privacy statement for details.

8. Recipients and categories

We share data with service providers acting on our instructions:

hosting and platform providers (Shopify), payment processors, analytics and advertising partners (Google, Meta), email provider (Mailchimp), logistics and fulfilment partners. We require appropriate safeguards and contracts with these providers.

9. International transfers

Service providers may process data in Switzerland, the EEA and other countries. Where data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EEA, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and comparable mechanisms, together with additional measures where appropriate. Shopify processes data globally as described in its DPA.

10. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. Typical retention: order records according to statutory commercial and tax retention periods, cookie identifiers per the lifetime disclosed in the banner, and marketing preferences until you withdraw consent.

11. Your rights
